About Rumana
I have always loved horses. Amidst much change and adventure in my life, this love has long been the only constant. Through daily contact and living together with my own horses as well as many other impressive horses, I have truly come to understand how different horses are — how individual their personalities are, and how valuable it is to accept and respond to these differences.
What deeply impresses me: horses are gentle, generous, open-minded, forgiving, and friendly beings when given space and shown respect. Their brilliant ability to read people fascinates me time and again. In all my projects, it's about the connection between horse and human — and about recognizing the horse as an independent, free, and highly sensitive being that can give us so much: as friend, teacher, and mirror.
When I learned about equine-assisted healing work and personal development, I was immediately fascinated. My training as a psychological counselor, complemented by additional training in neuroscience and adult AD(H)D, has helped me combine my intuition with solid knowledge. I prefer working in 1:1 settings or very small groups — this way I can respond individually to each person.
I particularly care about working with "unusual souls." My horses have shown me that being different can be a special gift — a perspective I bring into my counselling. It's about the art of living your own authenticity and individuality without disregarding others. True self-realisation, for me, means: living your own truth, staying true to yourself while being mindful of your surroundings. This is exactly the space I create together with my herd.

WITH THE HORSES
Nearly 20 years of professional work with horses: naturally leading trail rides, especially at North Ride Ibiza, dressage (English and Spanish) in a gentle way, training young horses, corrective work with problem horses, Natural Horsemanship — increasingly with the goal of motivating the horse to cooperate willingly and respecting its personality.
